What you'll learn
Description
If your work involves long stints in front of a computer, the way you sit at your desk will make an enormous difference to how you feel at the end of the day. There is a multitude of factors that determine whether a sitting posture might lead to repetitive strain issues or not. This Working at a Computer course will highlight those factors and provide your staff with simple, yet effective tips for working long hours in front of the computer.
Once the course is completed you will have learned the health problems caused by poor ergonomics, tips for setting up a workstation safely, simple stretching exercises, and the importance of correct lighting. This course is one part of an 18-part Office Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing office workers.
