What you'll learn
Description
Forklifts are one of the most useful and widely used pieces of machinery in the workplace. But at all times they should be regarded as possible lethal weapons. This Operating a Forklift course will provide your employees, particularly your forklift operators, with a heightened awareness of the many hazards associated with operating a forklift, and how they can reduce the risk of accidents and injury.
Once the course is completed, you will have learned the importance of daily safety checks of the forklift, procedures for reporting faults, what is the stability triangle and how it relates to a forklift’s stability, and risk controls that should be implemented to eliminate or minimize the risks.
