What you'll learn
Description
There are a number of signs that can indicate that someone might be suffering from mental distress. You don’t need any special training to show someone you care; sometimes, just being there can make all the difference. This Mental Health and Wellbeing course, The Warning Signs, explores the various warning signs to look out for that could signal that someone is suffering from psychological illness and ways in which to best support that individual.
Once the course is completed, you will have learned what to consider when checking on a team member, the importance of non-verbal cues, and the relevant privacy legislative requirements. This training course is one part of a 13-part series on mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Eight of the modules are curated for the manager whilst five are for their employees. This particular course is ideal for managers and supervisors.
