What you'll learn
Description
Protecting workers from mental injury and illness is a key WHS requirement. Risk management for mental health and safety in the workplace is the same as risk management for physical health and safety. In this Managing the Risks course, managers will learn the psychosocial risk factors that need to be looked out for and the importance of involving workers in all aspects of the risk management process.
Once the course is completed, you will have learned how to eliminate stigma in the workplace, the importance of providing constructive feedback, and the importance of consultation in the risk management process. This training course is one part of a 13-part series on mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Eight of the modules are curated for the manager whilst five are for their employees. This particular course is ideal for managers and supervisors.
