Description

Fires can start fast and a small hazard that goes unnoticed can quickly become a life-threatening emergency. The Fire Prevention course shows you why it matters, and puts you in situations where you have to act on it. Learners develop the critical thinking and decision-making skills to recognize hazards, choose the right response, and know when to fight a fire and when to get out.

Drawn from OSHA Standard: 1910.38, .39, .106, .157, 1926.150, .151, and industry best practices.

An interactive simulation is included. Understanding your workplace fire prevention plan is the first step in keeping yourself and your coworkers safe. In this simulation, you'll learn to identify hazardous chemicals, recognize ignition sources, and apply your fire prevention plan to real-world scenarios involving chemical spills.

You can access the simulation using a screen reader, computer, mobile device, or a Quest VR headset.
